FWS Summer School Culture Fridays Program

The Office of Indian Education is pleased to invite your FWS Student to participate in the FWS Summer School Cultural Fridays Program.

Your student is invited to participate in FWS Summer School Cultural Fridays, an extension of the summer school program that offers cultural activities to strengthen cultural connections and expand traditional knowledge.

The events will take place on the following dates:

June 5, 2026: Pow Wow Dancing 101 with Dionne Ferris & Trayshon Spoonhunter (learning their category style of footwork, learning different types of songs, regalia protocol)

June 12, 2026: Hands-on buffalo meat cutting and packaging

AGENDA | 8:00-8:30 AM – Breakfast | 8:30 AM-12:00 PM – Cultural Session | 12:00-12:30 PM – Lunch | 12:30 PM – Bus Home/Pick-Up |

Transportation: Bus service is available in both the morning and afternoon, following summer school bus times. Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
